Feeling of Abundance create plenty in your life
Harness your feelings to work for you

Last week I spoke about the importance of deliberately factoring feelings into your success model. This week I continue on this theme, but will be looking at how feelings of abundance can lead to the creation of abundance.

We live in a society that has a prevailing sense of lack. Economics introduces a notion of supply and demand, and hand in glove with supply and demand is the concept of limited resources. Because of this, we all walk around with a belief system that says 'some things are scarce and hard to come by'.

Since these ideas have been with us all our lives, without being conscious of it these ideas are a fundamental part of our understanding and interpretation of life. It is no surprise therefore that so many people experience scarcity as a daily occurrence. A belief like this spells death to abundance in all it's forms.

What's even worse is that this belief evokes feelings of fear and powerlessness and since feelings are magnetic, we attract the very thing we do not want - lack. The good news however, is that our subconscious mind, which stores our beliefs, is like the soil - neutral and accepting. In the same way that a belief system of scarcity and lack was accepted without argument by your deep mind, an alternative belief system proposing abundance can be accepted without argument too.

Then we have to move beyond beliefs to include feelings. Whereas in the past you charged your system with feelings of lack, now you have to charge and magnetise your system with magnificent feelings of abundance and I have found a little recipe for doing this which does just the trick:

During my daily quiet time I close my eyes and start to enumerate all the abundance in my own body. I think about how many breaths my lungs take. I think about how many times my heart will beat. I stand in awe at the infinite number of pores in my skin, the zillions of chemicals reactions my body will perform in my life, and just how many times my eyelids will blink. I rejoice in the number of hairs on my head, and the number of steps I walk. Celebrating my abundance has no end, and as I do this exercise I start to feel totally and utterly abundant. Just being me is abundant.

Then I start to think of the abundance all around me. Abundant rain drops, clouds, whispers of wind, trees in the Amazon, mountains in the Alps, drops of water in the sea, leaves on the trees. And…. Extending the picture this way takes me to an even greater feeling of abundance.

Then I imagine the sign for infinity being part of my inner make up. I work with the truth that abundance is infinite. In effect, by doing this exercise, I am not only recreating my beliefs, but I am charging the force field around me with abundance. And then I visualise the magnetise magic of this, and how it attracts what I desire to me - from money to work opportunities, whatever I choose I can bring into my lifet.

You too can get abundant living flowing toward you. You too can reverse the tide of lack and scarcity. You're not meant to be miserable. So this week, become your own beacon of hope and abundance. Close your eyes, imagine your body and work your magic!
