Seminars

While many commercial motivational sessions are pure hype, and many think tanks are hours and hours of tiring discussion, Catherine's motivational seminars are different in that blend motivational process and real outputs.

Objective
To inspire, motivate and assess the delegates with a view to changing for the better:
Generic approach could cover topics such as motivation, self management, change, communication, team visions, etc., OR Specific topics for companies e.g. a SWOT, progress assessment - relative to plans, operational re-think/re-strategise, etc.
To re-focus To take some vital time out To leave the process with clear outputs and action plans

Examples of two motivational seminars Catherine has developed:

The Power of Goals - 3.5 hours
Research reveals that having goals or not, will determine your success at work - at life. Since most people do at some time set goals, but never get anywhere near achieving them, there must be more to goal setting than meets the eye. This workshop looks at the more - the why, the what, the when and the how of developing and setting up a vision, with supporting goals. By the end of the session, you will fully understand how you operate relative to your goals, and how to set your goals up in a way that harmonises with your natural abilities. Moreover you will get a chance to try the various techniques out at the workshop, including mapping out in your own dream chart.
10 Steps to achieving your dreams.
This seminar is about achievement, success and living the best possible version of your life. If you are feeling de-motivated, lost or uncertain, down or just plain tired, this seminar is for you. Catherine Glennie will teach, inspire and entertain as she shares the 10 key principles of self management and how she worked them in her own life. What you do, how you think and your attitude to life will determine how far you go. Most people think these things come automatically, but this is not true. Having a great attitude is a skill. Dealing with failure is a skill. Being successful is a skill. The Power to Achieve teaches you those skills.

Method
Catherine Glennie, who designs and runs the process, works with intuitive flexibility to accommodate the culture and specific needs of the group.

Highly participative and interactive Key concepts introduced and reinforced via exercises Learning by having fun Music is used to heighten and reinforce central concepts and ideas where appropriate To engage the whole person - mind (intellectual) body (lots of activities) and emotions (the real power source of successful people - passion).

Those who have been on Catherine's interventions say:

"It really works. It's like putting some Eno's into the office, it's bubbly! - and the change of attitude has dramatically affected productivity. A recent incident comes to mind where the guys managed to finish double the amount of work in the same time as they were taking before the intervention - without management pushing!"

- Dawn Wing (part of the Laser Group)

Clients
Some of the clients we have run this intervention for are member of the general public, as well as companies such as Coke, Old Mutual, AMC Classic, KFM, Dawn Wing, Saambou- all with dramatic and positive results.
